LOUISBURG, NC--Ralph G. Davis, 86, of Louisburg passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. He was born on June 1, 1938, in Franklin County, NC to parents William Wallace and Maggie Fuller Davis.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his two brothers, Winston Davis and Donald Davis; one sister, Barbara McLean, and his granddaughter Madison Nelms.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Gwen Wood Davis; two daughters, Pamela Nelms and Dawn Davis; one granddaughter, Emma Nelms; one sister Betty Perry; one brother, Bobby Davis, and many extended family and friends.

Ralph retired from Rustic Building Supply after 29 years of service. Ralph served in the US Army National Guard. He was a charter member of the White Level Fire Department, a member of the White Level Lions Club, as well as a member and Deacon at White Level Baptist Church. Lovingly given the name "RaRa" by Sarah Wood, he would be loved and adored by all the children that were friends of his granddaughters and the neighborhood children. You could always find him cruising around on his golf cart or cutting the grass. Ralph enjoyed restoring his A Model car, which was his pride and joy. He loved his family, and especially his "best girl" Gracie, his canine companion.

Family will receive visitors and friends on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Rd, Louisburg, and at other times at the home of Ralph and Gwen.

A funeral service will be held at White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Rd, Louisburg on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 7 p.m., and will be officiated by Rev. Jason Currie, and Rev. Johnny Gupton. Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Wood Family Cemetery, 305 Wood Rd, Louisburg.

Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers to White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Rd, Louisburg NC 27549.
