Raleigh, NC--Norman Ray Hicks, 64, of Raleigh, formerly of Louisburg, died August 2, 2024.

Norman was born on February 2, 1960 to Helen Lois Smith Hicks and the late Leonard Moody Hicks Jr. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Hicks Jr; his brothers, Leonard Hicks, Gary Clay Hicks, and his wife, Tresa Hicks.

In addition to his mother, Helen, Norman is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jimi and Kelsey Hicks; and his brother, Glen Hicks.

A memorial service was held at Cokesbury Methodist Church 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, with Rev. Mike Edmondson officiating.
