Louisburg, NC - Funeral services for Eugene E. Martin, age 89, who died on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, September 1, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Born Oct. 14, 1934, he is survived by four daughters, Debra Briggs of Pensacola, FL, Glenda Meeks Pettiford (Jimmy) and Dora Spriggs, both of Raleigh, NC, Eugenia Solomon of Charlotte, NC; four sons, Darrell Shearin of Raleigh, NC, Clifton Edgerton (Shawn) of Midland, TX, Michael Hicks (Dora Greene) of Louisburg, NC, Reginald Harris of Chicago, IL; one sister, Veonie Martin Sutton of Louisburg, NC; one brother, Kenneth G. Edgerton (Delores) of Pensacola, FL; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

Viewing will be before the funeral from 1 - 2 p.m., Sunday at Richardson Funeral Home.
