Sheila A. Arnold
March 19, 1973 - August 26, 2024

RALEIGH, NC--Sheila A. Arnold, born on March 19, 1973, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, after a courageous 14-month battle with cancer. She was 51 years old.

Sheila's life was defined by her love for her family, friends, and beloved fur-babies. Her three children, Samantha Castleberry, Amber Castleberry, and Christian Brown were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them and with her four grandchildren all of whom survive her and will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Sheila's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she was also a devoted daughter to her parents, Jimmy Arnold Sr. and Sherry Hoyle; stepmother Carolyn Arnold, who survive her.

Sheila had a passion for fishing and found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when surrounded by those she loved. She treasured the time spent with her partner, Tracy Johnson, and the many cousins and friends who enriched her life with laughter and companionship. An animal lover, she opened her heart and home to her dogs whose constant companionship was a source of comfort and love during her valiant battle with cancer.

She is also survived by her brothers, Jimmy Arnold, Jr., and Ray Ennemoser; sister Angie Arnold; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that became family.

Sheila's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.

A celebration of Sheila's life will be held at Pocomoke Cowboy Church, 3516 W. River Road Franklinton, NC at 3 p.m. , Sunday, September 8, 2024, to honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
