JOEL HENRY PUSEY
November 4, 1941 - October 12, 2024

LOUISBURG, NC--Joel Henry Pusey, 82, of Louisburg, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2024, at his home.

Joel was the son of the late Oliver Samuel Pusey and Ila Vader Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Debbie E. Pusey; sister, Mary Collins; and brother, Victor Pusey.

Joel proudly served his country in the United States Army. He also worked for over 50 years as a supervisor at Mackey, Inc.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. The family will hold a burial service on Monday, November 4, at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg.

Joel is survived by his sons Craig Thompson of Louisburg, Donald Watkins and wife Melissa of Garner, and Ronald Watkins and wife Amie of Spring Hope; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
