Alvin Cole Wright
July 20, 1941 - October 19, 2024

LEXINGTON, NC--Alvin Cole Wright, 83, of Davidson County, passed away Saturday morning, October 19, 2024.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 4 p.m., at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 3 - 4 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Alvin was born on July 20, 1941, in Pearces, NC, to the late Julius Wright and Stancy Perry Wright.

He was well known throughout Franklin and had friends wherever he was. His reliable and hardworking mentality is remembered by friends and family, especially during his time at Pearces Grocery.

Alvin was a fan of Elvis, classic cars, and was an avid coin collector. His love for his family will be remembered and his memory cherished for years to come.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hannah Jean Tant Wright.

Left to carry on his legacy is his son, Britt Wright and wife, Sharon, of Lexington.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
