Patricia Rowland Rogers
March 23, 1938 - November 6, 2024

KITTRELL , NC--Patricia Rowland Rogers, 86, of Rocky Ford Road, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at her home.

Born March 23, 1938 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Renn Rowland and James Rudolph Rowland.

She formerly worked for Louisburg Manor as an administrator and attended Plank Chapel United Methodist Church where she was the organist for over 60 years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women Senior Circle and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church by Rev. Edgar DeJesus and Dr. Carolyn Roy. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Patricia is survived by her husband, John Allison Rogers of the home; a son, Greg Hunt of Kittrell, NC; a sister-in-law Martha Rowland of Kittrell, NC; and three nephews, Rudy Rowland, Randy Rowland (Whitney), and Ryan Rowland (Angie); five stepchildren, Cliff Rogers (Stephanie) of Wake Forest, Ann Freeman (Gary) of Henderson, Ellen Allen (Ben) of Kittrell, Sue Smith (Darden) of South Boston, VA, and Carol Monahan (John) of Kittrell; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Hunt, and Cheatham Fuller; and her brother, James R. Rowland, Jr.

The family received friends following the service on Monday in the fellowship hall of Plank Chapel United Methodist Church. Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Rowland, Randy Rowland, Rudy Rowland, John Allen, Raney Edwards, and David Renn.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Plank Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 507, Kittrell, NC 27544.
