GRAHAM C. STALLINGS
May 30, 1938 - November 23, 2024

YOUNGSVILLE, NC--Graham Clark Stallings, 86, of Youngsville, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Louisburg Baptist Church.

Graham was born in Franklin County to the late Eugene "Genie" W. and Ruby C. Stallings. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie S. Williams and Jayne S. Simpkins and his brother, Howard Stallings.

Graham was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He also served several terms as a commissioner for the town of Youngsville.

Graham is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Anna P. Stallings; daughters and son-in-law, Ammie S. and Arthur "Buddy" Edmondson; Benita S. Mattheis; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Dawn Stallings; brother and sister-in-law, Mallie and Annette Stallings; grandchildren, Anna Kathryn (Cameron) Taylor, Tate Mattheis and Riley Stallings; great-grandchildren, Kennedy-Grace Taylor, Fitz Taylor and Graham Mattheis and many nieces and nephews.

Most of Graham's career was spent with the NC Department of Corrections, and the State Bureau of Investigation. After retiring, he returned to Franklin County to work for multiple entities including the Sheriff's Office and Animal Services. As Director of Animal Services, he was instrumental in the completion of a new facility. Because of his love and compassion for all people he dedicated many years to serving the Department of Social Services through the Care and Share Program.

Graham never met a stranger. He was the kind of fellow that was easy to be with and talk to. Anyone could count on his sense of humor and his kindness. A man loved by all and will be truly missed.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Transitions LifeCare who provided hospice care. We are truly grateful to his private caregivers Jennie Bruner and Janice Carter.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Cr. Raleigh, NC 27607 or to Care and Share of Franklin County, 110 Industrial Dr. Louisburg, NC 27549.
