Linda Puckett Edwards

LOUISBURG, NC--Linda Puckett Edwards, 80, of Louisburg, passed away Sunday morning, November 24, 2024.

Linda was the daughter of the late George and Elsie M. Puckett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald B. Edwards.

Linda was a member of Hill King United Methodist Church and the Louisburg Moose Lodge. She farmed with her husband Gerald full-time until they retired. She loved to go on cruises and travel.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Haddock officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Helen Edwards; brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Lisa Puckett; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Mack and Ann Edwards; Waylon and Debbie Edwards; grandchildren, Jessica Edwards and Phillip Edwards and wife, Amanda Edwards; great-grandchildren, Grace, Liam and Wyatt; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hill King United Methodist Church, Missions Fund, 1897 NC Hwy. 39 S., Louisburg, NC 27549 or the Louisburg Moose Lodge, 191 Moose Loop Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
