FRANKLINTON -- Col. Wyatt Lemuel McGhee III, 84, died on Sat. Dec. 21 at home.
He was born on June 19, 1940 to Wyatt L. (Lemuel) McGhee II and Mabel Wommack McGhee.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bullard McGhee; sons: Wyatt L. McGhee IV (Patsy), and Geof McGhee; brother-in-law, Ron Bullard (Jan); and several grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. at Grace Haven Baptist Fellowship, 726 Hicks Road, Youngsville.
Visitation will follow at the same location.
