LOUISBURG, NC -- Jean Carolyn Jones, 72, daughter of the late Clifford Thomas and Meredith Collins was born on November 7, 1952, in Franklin County and died on Dec. 30, 2024, at Hock Family Pavillion of Durham, NC.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Elvis Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Craig Jones, Sr., two sons, Craig S. Jones, Jr. (Amanda) of Henderson, and Jerwode Jones of the home; one daughter, Jerwanda Jones of the home; two godsons; one brother, Larry Collins (Brenda) of Albany, NY; one sister, Priscilla Patterson of Brooklyn, NY; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church, Louisburg, Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton, Rev. Timothy Fasion, pastor, officiating.
