LOUISBURG - Elsie H. Gupton, 82, died Monday, July 21, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at White Level Baptist Church, with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving: son, Lee Gupton Jr. (Joanna) of Louisburg; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight (Wednesday, July 23) at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg.
Mrs Gupton (Elsie) was a dear friend of my mother, Eula Moore (Bartholomew). While mother was a resident of Louisburg Manor, Elsie brought much comfort and solace to her and other residents through her humor, loving attitude and professional conduct.
