BUNN -- Bunn’s Mini Mites wrapped up regular season action last Saturday with a 36-18 home victory over rival Louisburg in a East Wake Football League gridiron contest.
Bunn closed at 5-3 overall and 5-1 in league play, which was good for first place in the Northern Division.

LOUISBURG -- Bragging rights and playoff seeding -- and in Louisburg’s case, playoff existence -- were at stake when Bunn traveled to LHS to renew one of the area’s fiercest football rivalries.

CENTERVILLE - Florence Tharrington Radford, 91, of Centerville, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Wake Medical Center.  She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church and loved to sew and cook for her family and friends, and when she was younger she loved to strip tobacco.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie G. Radford, and her grandson, Benjamin G. Radford, Jr.
